Inspired by the nearly extinct woodland namesake, the Jackalope Cabin is a custom log cabin on stilts with a slide, climbing net, branch-mounted tire swing, hammocks and a double size Murphy bed inside. It is installed in a wooded backyard in Atherton, California and has hosted two neighborhood sleepovers shortly after installation. Campers can view the stars through the two installed skylights and talk on the funnel and copper-pipe phone to those on the ground level and order s'mores from room service.
